New Skills

Primary 5/6 have been learning to cross stitch. It can take a lot of patience just to thread the needle! They have been working really hard to do it independently and to learn how to stitch. It has been great to see the determination and positive growth mindset of the class as they learn this new skill!

Costume Design Project

This week, P5/6 were set a task to design a Halloween costume. The design brief stated that it should be something suitable for children aged 3 to 6. The task involved planning and designing before making part of the costume as a prototype to show others. At the end of the week, we evaluated how successful each design was.

Welcome to P5/6!

Welcome to the P5/6 class blog! It has been so good to see everyone back in class together this week. I have been impressed with how quickly everyone has settled into class after an extended period away from school. The children have all been introduced to new measures and P5/6 have adapted well to a new class layout and new class routines. It has been encouraging to see smiles on faces, friends reconnecting and all children ready and eager to learn. What a super start to the new school term!
